Job
The HR Compliance & Risk Officer will ensure the company complies with Irish employment law and workplace regulations, while also conducting risk assessments of HR processes and workforce planning. This role involves monitoring compliance gaps, advising management on risks, and implementing corrective action plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance audits of HR policies, contracts, and documentation.
- Perform risk assessments on workforce management, employee relations, and recruitment practices.
- Draft reports on compliance risks and recommend remedial actions.
- Track changes in employment legislation and assess their impact on company policies.
- Provide training and guidance to management on compliance and risk areas.
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and external agencies when required.
- Maintain records in line with GDPR and data protection laws.
Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Knowledge of Irish employment law and HR compliance and risk assessment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience in HR compliance, employee relations, or legal aspects of HR is desirable.
