IFY Operations Coordinator
DCU International Academy would like to recruit a IFY Operations Coordinator for the International Foundation Year Programme, based on-site at the DCU Glasnevin campus.
Position Overview
DCU International Academy is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic IFY Programme Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operational coordination of the International Foundation Year Programme. This role requires a proactive individual with strong administrative skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, solution-focused, and capable of working independently, whilst also collaborating effectively with the broader IFY team.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the IFY Programme to ensure smooth delivery. This includes timetabling, room booking and exam coordination.
- Act as the point of contact for lecturers, students on administrative tasks.
- Liaise with partner universities and coordinate with internal departments.
- Support the maintenance of accurate records and assist the registration process.
- Attend and chair team meetings
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- A primary degree in a relevant field - Required
- A minimum of 3 years' previous experience in an academic administrative, operations and support role - Required
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace; experience with student information systems or learning platforms is a strong advantage - Required
- ACELS recognised TEFL /TESOL Diploma - Desirable
- Familiarity with data protection, academic policies, and compliance procedures in an education setting - Desirable
