We are searching for the best talent for IM Transcend (ERP) Global PMO Leader role.
Purpose: The PMO Lead is a senior and critical role in the governance of a multi-year, global SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The individual will establish and lead a high-performing Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure disciplined execution across all workstreams and geographies. This includes full accountability for documentation compliance, program metrics and reporting, financial management (actuals and forecasts), and resource planning and capacity control.
Working closely with the Program Director, Global Delivery Lead, CEBA lead and global Template Lead and SI partners, the PMO Lead will provide accurate, timely insights and controls to ensure the program delivers on time, on budget, and to defined quality standards.
The role will have 4 direct and 13+ extended reports who will be accountable for developing the global program methodologies, metrics and tool sets in addition to managing the program cost tracking/insights and setting up and delivery program value tracking capabilities.
The leader will need to develop strong business partnerships across key stakeholders groups, including (but not limited to) the Pharm SC, Commercial, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Enterprise SC Data Management, Central Finance program (CFIN), EPM, JJT, and Enterprise Sourcing.
You will be responsible for:
Program Governance & PMO Operations
- Establish, operate, and continuously improve the PMO framework, methodologies, tools, and templates tailored to the scale and complexity of the global S/4HANA program.
- Define and enforce program-wide standards for documentation, controls, and reporting in line with audit, regulatory, and internal governance requirements.
- Maintain and oversee the program master plan, integrated schedule, RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and change control processes. (Syndicated PMO Analysts in the Deployment orgs).
Program Metrics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain a suite of program KPIs and dashboards to track progress, performance, risks, and issues.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and meaningful program reporting to senior stakeholders, steering committees, and executive sponsors.
- Coordinate the collection, consolidation, and presentation of status reports from all workstreams (business, technical, change, data, etc.).
Financial Management & Reporting
- Work in partnership with finance to manage and track the program budget, including actuals, committed spend, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Lead the monthly financial review cycle, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures across vendors, workstreams, and internal resources.
- Support investment case updates, ROI tracking, and benefit realization planning and reporting.
Resource Management & Capacity Planning
- Maintain and control the program resource plan, including allocation, onboarding, offboarding, and utilization across internal and external contributors.
- Forecast future resource demand and capacity based on program plans and deployment timelines.
- Ensure contractual and vendor resources are tracked, performance-assessed, and aligned with program needs and budgets.
Other
- Support the development and delivery of program presentations for senior-level stakeholders to advise on historical and future program status.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor's/University or equivalent degree. MBA highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or large transformation programs.
- Minimum 5 years of complex global Program Management leadership experience.
- Hands-on experience with ERP implementations is required; SAP S/4HANA implementation experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of Pharm Supply Chain or Commercial Operations.
- Demonstrated hands-on project management/delivery in an S4H program required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Minimum 5 years of people leadership and team development experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result.
- Strong communication to create clear and concise messaging to leadership.
- Detail and solution oriented with ability to work within broad guidelines but challenge status quo.
Preferred:
- Certification in areas of expertise (e.g., PMP, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma/Process Excellence, etc.) preferred.
OTHER:
- Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally.
- May require up to 25% of domestic and international travel.
- Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week.
