The Opportunity
As our Instrument Technician, you’ll work play a hands-on leadership role in the delivery of our projects, working closely with both our site management teams and our client representative.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading a team in the installation and/or maintenance of instrumentation systems.
- Lots of fault-finding and rectification.
- Providing technical support to the operational teams.
- Carrying out bench test calibrations.
- Loop checking and testing instrument and verifying cabling.
- Maintaining accurate inspection and test records to comply with current legislation.
- 3+ years' experience in a Senior Instrument Tech role, ideally leading teams.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and engineering documentation
- Good literacy in Computer Operating Systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Auto CAD etc.
- Ability to work to tight schedules and achieve targets, motivated to deliver our projects on-time and to budget.
- Prior experience on Data Centre projects
