The Exam Centre, Irelands’ Premier venue for delivering Computer Based exams are looking for an IT Support Network Technician to join our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities
· Install, maintain, update and deploy our Network of Windows 10/11 PC’s and Windows 2016/2019 Servers, routers and switches in our sites across Ireland.
· Assure network infrastructure is secure, running smoothly, and appropriately backed up.
· Have a sound working knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, DNS, Cable troubleshooting and Wireless.
· Coordinate the installation of devices with appropriate vendors.
· Coordinate and maintain storage for all equipment at our base in Dublin
· Maintain a stock inventory system.
· Remote, email and telephone support to installation sites
· Provide onsite and remote troubleshooting as requested
· Adhere to strict IT policies and standards.
· Travel to other sites from time to time as required.

· Have an interest in IT Practices and Technologies, Event Management and Customer Service.

· Adaptable to work to requests and projects that may vary from day to day.
· Ability to work as part of a team is essential, but also capable of working independently on own initiative at times.
Educational Requirements
Leaving Certificate or equivalent. CompTIA Network+, Windows qualifications.
Experience Required
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT Support and Networking role is essential with an excellent understanding of Networking technologies and troubleshooting.
Necessary Requirements
· Fluent English Speaker
· Full Irish/European Clean Driving Licence is essential
