About Us:
JOL Electrical is a well-established electrical contracting company based in Dublin 12, delivering high-quality electrical services across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. As we continue to grow, we're looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented individual to our team in a dual role combining Junior Estimation and Office Administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating (Training Provided):
- Assist senior estimator in preparing quotes and tenders
- Review drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
- Track ongoing tenders and submit documentation on time
- Handle incoming calls and emails in a professional manner
- Maintain job files and ensure proper documentation
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and site visits
- Order materials and manage inventory records
- Support project managers and the wider office team as needed
Requirements:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and develop in the role
- Previous experience in an office environment is a plus
- Knowledge of the electrical industry or construction sector is an advantage but not essential
