Wallace’s Homevalue Hardware is looking for a Junior Sales Representative – Building Materials tojoin our team and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team in servicing construction and trade accounts by preparing quotations, processing orders, and following up on enquiries.
- Assist with developing and maintaining strong customer relationships by delivering outstanding service and attention to detail.
- Help identify new sales opportunities through research, outreach, and building rapport with prospective customers.
- Provide administrative support including stock checks, price updates, and maintaining customer records.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge in building materials and hardware to assist customers confidently and accurately.
Skills / Experience Required:
- Some experience in a customer-facing or sales support role (retail, trade counter, or office-based) is an advantage.
- Interest in or knowledge of building materials, DIY, or hardware products.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude.
- Team player with a positive outlook and good attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems.
