Do you want to work as part of a fun and energetic team? The Clonakilty Park Hotel is currently looking to fill the position of full time Kitchen Porter, with flexible hours.
Objective of the Role
The Kitchen Porter role is an important position in the overall smooth running of this busy kitchen. You will work alongside the chefs and other kitchen team members in maintaining hygiene & cleanliness levels in the kitchens. . Our Executive Head Chef and Head Chef head up the kitchen and will support you in your role.
Please note this is a full time position and involves early starts and late finishes .
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining a supply of clean ware / cooking ware & kitchen utensils at all times
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times
- Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen.
- Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
- Available to work midweek and weekends
