Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer who is looking to be a part of key projects, with a dynamic and progressive engineering company?
Rockwell are seeking a lead mechanical project engineer to join an exciting mechanical engineering project initially based in the Dublin region, on a permanent & full-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate project schedules in conjunction with project team.
- Monitor project work progress.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Project engineering submissions and value engineering.
- Project procurement and materials management.
- Project build review and interaction with co-contractors.
- Designing and modelling in 3D using Autodesk 3D software.
- Evaluating final product's overall performance, reliability and safety.
- Interacting and managing Clients, CMT, Suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging including walking down of P&ID's, and layout drawings.
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:
- Relevant third level qualification in Mechanical / Building Services
- Knowledge and understanding of both HVAC and Piping Systems.
- Have a good level of knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software systems.
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience post qualification.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports.
- Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability.
