Locations: Mallow (Cork), Limerick Area, Maynooth-Dublin trainline, and Waterford area.
Salary: €31k up to €40k depending on the contract hours & role with yearly increments.
Contract Hours: Average of 45-48 hours per week dependent on the location requirement.
Contract Duration: Fixed Purpose & Fixed Term Contracts
Annual Leave Entitlement: 20 days per annum, rising to 26 based on service.

Iarnród Éireann is building for a future which will see the role of our rail services maximised in meeting the transport needs of the communities we serve, and the wider economy and environment. We are seeking applications from suitable applicants to fill a number of Level Crossing Gatekeeper roles and join us for this exciting phase of growth within the railway sector
Successful candidates will be responsible for the safe operation of Level Crossings and associated equipment on Iarnród Éireann’s rail network and must demonstrate the following attributes:
- Ability to work in a highly regulated environment
- Experience of following sequential safety critical procedures
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including shift, night work and weekend work.
Safety Critical assessments, competency-based interview and medical will form part of this selection process.
