Job Description:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Leisure Centre Lifeguard to join our team. As a key member of our leisure team, you will ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all users. This is a customer-facing role, requiring professionalism, energy, and a strong focus on health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests and members in a friendly, professional manner.
- Supervise pool and leisure areas to ensure safety and adherence to facility rules.
- Carry out regular safety checks and maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
- Provide accurate information about services, facilities, and programs.
- Assist with front desk duties, including handling payments and member enquiries.
- Support your teammates to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Valid Pool Lifeguard Certification and First Aid qualification (essential).
- Fluent English with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
