EZ Living Interiors is looking to recruit an Assistant Logistics Department Manager.
This person will be primarily responsible for assisting the organisation of all deliveries out of our Distribution Centre in Little Island.
They will be required to coordinate between Sales, Customer Service and Accounts to ensure that all orders are ready for shipment and liaise with Warehouse and Transport teams to fulfil deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- With the support from the Department Manager, Oversee and manage all delivery routes. Ensuring a timely delivery service: forward and reverse countrywide logistics.
- React and resolve any delivery issues as they occur to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Scheduling and coordination of the logistics team.
- Examine the current flow of goods, and ensure there are enough resources for a consistent and seamless logistics service that is managed through effective planning.
- Gather relevant information to assist in producing daily and weekly department KPIs.
- Liaise with different departments to optimise the scheduling of deliveries.
- Input, monitor and run reports on the ERP system.
- Ensure the completion of dispatch documents required for daily runs, in preparation for picking and loading of products by the Warehouse team, and the preparation of the daily run sheet.
- To complete any reasonable other tasks & duties that may arise.
- Liaise with multiple business departments including warehousing, accounts and purchasing.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills required:
- Third level qualification in Business or Supply Chain-related discipline desirable but not essential.
- Minimum of three years experience in a logistics-related role.
- Previous office management experience an advantage.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience in ERP systems highly advantageous
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Great attention to detail and adaptability.
- Impeccable Organisational skills are essential
