This position involves shift work - 12 hour continental. Shifts will be rotated on days and nights and weekends.
You are responsible for supporting the machinists and running machined parts on swiss turning machines. You will have the opportunity to progress to be trained as machinist.
Specific Job Responsibility.
- Run and operate CNC swiss turning machines.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with work instructions or as instructed by supervisor.
- Ensure work is carried out within acceptable time limits.
- Ensure that all products are measured and recorded in line with all requirements where applicable (IMS or CMM reports)
- Constantly monitor product and address any and all non-conformances.
- Monitor machines and flag any issues to machinists or setters.
- Maintain high standard of housekeeping and be pro active on H&S issues.
- Adhere to cGMP standards and continually ensure that SOPs are followed.
- Comply with relevant SOPs to ensure full tractability and good organisation.
