We’re currently seeking a motivated and reliable General Machine Operative to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring various CNC machines to support the efficient manufacturing of high-quality products. This is a hands-on, physical role where you’ll be responsible for loading materials into CNC machines, starting production runs, and keeping things running smoothly. No programming or technical machining experience is required for this role.
Hours of Work:
Bi Weekly Rotation ( Days and Evenings)
Week A:
08:00 - 16:30 Mon to Thurs and 08:00 -15:30 Friday
Week B:
16:15 - 00:45 Mon to Thurs and 15:15 - 22:45 Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various CNC machines (e.g., Milling, and Cutting Machines.)
- Load raw materials and set up machines as per production requirements
- Conduct routine quality checks to ensure components meet specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with basic maintenance and tooling changes as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC machines is preferred (but not essential – training provided)
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet for extended periods
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new machinery and processes
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Flexibility in working in other areas throughout the factory where needed
