JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate for the role of machine operator/warehouse operative will be expected to:
- Fulfil customer orders in a timely manner.
- Meet deadlines.
- Pick the correct stock batch that has been allocated.
- Cut the material to the size specified.
- Pack jobs for transport (bundles, pallets & parcels)
- Pay close attention to detail.
- Load couriers and customers.
- General warehouse duties/ housekeeping.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Always adhere to health & safety protocol.
- Report any hazards/ health & safety issues etc. to supervisor.
- Pick the correct batch allocated on the paperwork.
- Good time keeping.
REQUIREMENTS –
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:
- Be able to use a tape measure & vernier calliper.
- Have their own transport & full driving licence.
- Counterbalance forklift license (desirable but not essential)
- Be a good team player.
- Be good at communicating with their colleagues.
- Have good time keeping skills.
- Be available to work 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
