Maintenance Person – Part Time – Nursing Home (3 Days per Week)
Location: Aisling House Nursing Home, Co. Wicklow
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our friendly team at Aisling House Nursing Home. This is a hands-on role, 3 days per week, helping to keep our home safe, welcoming, and well maintained for residents, staff, and visitors.
What you’ll do:
- General repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
- Garden and outdoor care (sweeping, trimming, weeding, planting).
- Routine checks on equipment, fire alarms, and lighting.
- Respond to day-to-day repair requests.
- Liaise with external contractors for specialist works.
What we’re looking for:
- Good all-round maintenance skills.
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Friendly and respectful when working in resident areas.
Hours: 3 days per week (with some flexibility for urgent issues).
