What’s the position?
We are seeking a Compliance Manager to sit in our international markets team which means you’ll be working on markets outside of the USA. As Compliance Manager, you will be work on one or more jurisdictions and general license compliance (licence, marketing, safer gambling and technical compliance) for those markets.
As Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:
Assisting with applications for gaming licenses/authorizations.
Building, reviewing and maintaining compliance matrices — including advising the business on compliance requirements for gaming licenses and applicable laws, assisting in the development of internal controls, and establishing a monitoring program.
Manage the preparation, review, and submission of reports to internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, authorities, and other relevant parties, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
Undertaking compliance monitoring reviews including obtaining evidence of compliance and working with the business on any areas of non-compliance and generating regular and routine reports on the same to management.
Working closely with the business verticals to ensure full support in launching new licenses, products, promotions or advertising in compliant manner.
Advising business teams on regulation interpretation and considering and amending marketing assets.
Undertaking all regulatory filings as required by gaming licenses or applicable law and assisting with any renewals of gaming licenses.
Updating the business on developments in gaming legislation and other laws impacting the operation on a gaming business.
Developing and maintaining an excellent relationship with gaming regulators.
Manage, mentor and develop Compliance Analysts who will report into you (directly or indirectly), including Technical Compliance Analysts.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure company policies are appropriately implemented by conducting investigations, developing improvement plans, and implementing corrective actions to address compliance-related issues.
Reporting significant compliance risks to senior management.
Any other job-related duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience of licensing compliance.
Experience of online gambling particularly within Ontario’s regulatory framework and/or experience of Latam markets.
Compliance qualifications preferred (e.g. International Compliance Association).
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
Experienced in working collaboratively across different teams and departments.
