The Mercantile Group, one of Ireland’s leading hospitality companies, is looking for a talented Marketing Executive to join our dynamic in-house marketing team.
With a portfolio of iconic Dublin venues and household brands including Café en Seine, Whelan’s, The George, NoLIta, The Mercantile Hotel and WillowWarm Briquettes this role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social and digital media, understands how to capture attention through great content, and knows how to bring campaigns and events to life both online and offline.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative, engaging social media strategies that build brand visibility and drive footfall across multiple venues.
- Produce compelling short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Stories; including photography, videography, editing, and copywriting.
- Own and manage monthly content calendars, ensuring alignment with brand tone and key venue activities.
- Plan and execute paid social ad campaigns via Meta Ads Manager, optimising for awareness, bookings, and ROI.
- Attend events, activations, and launches to capture live content and support in real time.
- Work with the wider marketing and events team to amplify campaigns and promote key moments.
- Monitor and report on social and campaign performance with actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Create and distribute email marketing campaigns to align with wider marketing objectives.
- Maintain and update business websites using WordPress, ensuring SEO best practice.
- Manage Google Business profiles to support local discovery and visibility.
- Keep a finger on the pulse of digital and cultural trends, constantly bringing new ideas to the table.
What You Bring
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 years in a content-focused digital marketing role, ideally with lifestyle or hospitality brands or 3 years managing social media and digital channels to drive brand growth and engagement.
- Strong portfolio of original content creation; including video and photography for social.
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Instagram/TikTok publishing and reporting tools, and video editing apps.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor tone across venues.
- A creative mindset with great visual instinct and attention to detail.
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment, across multiple brands and deadlines.
- Bonus if you’ve worked on brand events, influencer campaigns.
