We are seeking a Masterdate Goverence Manager for a full-time, permanent role reporting into the GPN director of finance transformation. You will own the masterdata agenda across all GPN Brands, channels and systems to ensure consistency across master data, definitions and integrity.
Responsibilities
Leadership
- Play the leadership role in implementing master data management and master data governance frameworks across GPN.
- Manage the master data management strategic activities.
- Establish and manage the Master Data ownership and responsibilities across GPN.
- Owner for data quality across GPN for Material, Customer, Vendor and Consumer.
- Responsible for assisting the business in ensuring completeness, accuracy and quality of GPN master data to support business operations, performance and insight
Process Optimisation
- Work closely with product, customer, and operations teams to understand their data requirements and ensure that master data supports their business processes.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate master data management processes into existing systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with the GBS master data governance CoE to ensure appropriate technical systems are introduced and established across the relevant data domains in GPN
Governance & Reporting
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures in collaboration with the audit team to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Establish and lead the appropriate governance structure within GPN for data quality, including data stewards, process data owners and Data Governance councils.
- Regularly audit master data to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Lead the development and implementation of master data management processes within the newly created Data Hub.
- Implement data quality frameworks and tools to monitor and improve the quality of master data.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Fully qualified with 5 years+ master data management, data governance or data engineering background (excluding internships), preferably within a CPG/digital commerce business
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices, with a proven track record of implementation.
- At least 3 years People Management experience
- Strong influential skills both cross functionally and ability to build strong relationships at a senior level with
- Ability to set planning, direction and priorities whilst striving for financial results.
- Have a collaborative style with experience working in an agile business, driving growth
- Data driven with a clear focus on results and KPI’s
- Self starter with a strong team spirit mentality
- A passion for the industry and products
