International House Dublin is seeking a highly organised and compassionate High School Programme Administrator (Maternity Cover) to join our Operations Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about student welfare, educational placement, and providing a supportive and structured environment for international high school students in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
1. School Development and Placement
- Act as the primary liaison with existing partner secondary schools across Ireland to maintain and enhance collaborative relationships.
- Proactively expand our network of school partnerships in Dublin and other Irish regions to identify and secure new placement opportunities.
- Coordinate and execute the placement of incoming students into appropriate schools prior to their arrival, ensuring timely and accurate communication with agents, schools, families, and students.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of school placements and student enrolments.
2. Accommodation & Transfers
- Assign each High School Programme (HSP) student to a suitable and vetted host family, ensuring alignment with student needs and programme requirements.
- Oversee and ensure full vetting compliance of all host family members.
- Organise and coordinate transfers for students to and from host families, especially during scheduled travel or holiday periods.
- Maintain up-to-date and accessible records of host family arrangements, sharing relevant information with partner agencies as needed.
3. Guardianship and Student Welfare
- Act as a primary point of contact for student welfare, offering day-to-day support and monitoring their well-being and progress throughout the programme.
- Write and distribute monthly welfare reports to relevant stakeholders (parents, agents, schools).
- Administer the Contingency Fund and manage student-related expenditures responsibly and transparently.
- Prepare all materials and lead sessions during Orientation Week to ensure a smooth transition for new students.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to other members of the Operations Department as needed.
- When programme enrolment falls below the standard guardianship capacity (up to 40 students), the role may include broader administrative duties within the department.

Pay: €28,000.00-€30,000.00 per year
