We are looking for a reliable, organised, and professional receptionist to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role that involves managing reception, assisting with clinic operations, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for patients.
Your day will include:
- Greeting and checking in patients in a friendly, professional manner
- Managing phone calls, emails, and appointment bookings efficiently
- Taking payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining financial records
- Cleaning and maintaining the reception, waiting areas, treatment rooms, and all other spaces to infection control standards
- Sterilising and preparing clinical instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Organising and ordering stock, consumables, and supplies to keep the clinic running smoothly
- Filing, scanning, and managing paperwork and patient records
- Handling post, deliveries, and collections promptly
- Assisting with any other reasonable tasks to support the smooth running of the reception and clinic area.
The ideal candidate:
- Be fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a professional, positive ‘can do’ attitude, high energy, and a customer-focused approach
- Be extremely well presented with excellent customer care skills
- Have previous front office or reception experience (desirable but not essential)
- Must be fully confident using a computer — including email, online systems, and everyday admin tasks — with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Possess excellent interpersonal, administrative, and telephone skills, with a confident and friendly manner
- Be able to work independently, take responsibility, and adapt to changing priorities with initiative and innovation
- Be fully flexible to work mornings, evenings, and weekends if required
- Be prepared for the role to evolve as the clinic grows — offering variety, growth, and challenge to the right person
