Merchandiser / Relief Truck Driver

Phloor Limited is one of Ireland’s leading flooring wholesalers. We are currently seeking a Merchandiser to join our team, based out of our headquarters in Park West, Dublin 12. This is a full-time, permanent role which combines merchandising duties with relief truck driving responsibilities.
About the Role: The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our sales team by:
- Assembling and preparing flooring samples and displays
- Delivering and installing sampling and merchandising materials to retail customers across Ireland (North & South)
- Maintaining sample stock levels and displays in stores nationwide
In addition to merchandising duties, you will also provide relief cover for our delivery team when required during holidays and sick leave, including nationwide deliveries of flooring products. Overnight stays and early starts/late finishes are part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Merchandising:
- Assembling sample materials and displays
- Coordinating delivery and installation of sample displays at customer sites
- Maintaining in-store merchandising standards and sample stock
- Supporting the sales team with merchandising requirements nationwide
Relief Truck Driving (as required):
- Nationwide deliveries of flooring products
- Loading and unloading goods manually
- Overnight stays (typically once per week, but may vary)
- Early starts / late finishes when covering driving routes
Requirements:
- Valid C Licence (over 25 for insurance purposes)
- Valid Digi Card
- Up-to-date CPC Card
- Clean driving licence
- Manual Handling Certificate (Forklift Licence is an advantage but not essential — training provided)
- Experience with tail-lift operations is an advantage
- Physically fit – role involves manual handling of flooring materials
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Personal transport required due to early starts / late finishes
- Right to work in Ireland
Terms:

Salary: Starting from €35,000 per year (salary will depend on experience)
