Amazon's Enterprise Network team is looking to hire Network Engineers to help scale and automate of one of the worlds largest and complex networks. The Enterprise Network provides mission-critical global connectivity for internal services and business applications, datacenter infrastructure equipment, and 1,000,000+ internal users. We are seeking an experienced Network Development Engineer to join a highly skilled team that designs and automates the and growth of next generation networking products deployed to AWS Datacenters globally. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Key job responsibilities As a Network Development Engineer working within AWS Infrastructure you will: Be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics that supports the Amazon Retail Service and AWS services. Deploy, scale and automate our network across many global data centers. This includes existing footprints and new locations. Identify opportunities and develop tooling and to increase scaling velocity and quality. Create simple, repeatable processes, and improve upon existing processes. Work closely with our internal customers on designs/solutions; bringing those designs/solutions from concept to production. Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network is deployed to these standards. Work closely with our teams in defining the platforms and frameworks that allow us to scale at unprecedented volume. Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, strong project management and time management skills and has a successful track record of designing simple, scalable solutions and troubleshooting complex network problems and delivering innovative solutions.   • Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance analysis
