Office Administrator / Shipping Co-ordinator
Dillon Waste is a leading waste management company based in Tralee, Co. Kerry. We operate a state-of-the-art facility and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, reliable services to our customers. We are now seeking a full-time Office Administrator / Shipping Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team.
The Role
This is a dual role, with a primary focus on shipping coordination and weighbridge operations. You will be responsible for recording all vehicle movements, handling export shipment paperwork, and supporting our administration team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate weighbridge equipment to accurately record weights and waste types for all vehicle movements.
- Verify and process load documentation (delivery notes, Annex VII forms, shipping manifests).
- Maintain accurate records for auditing, invoicing and regulatory compliance.
- Cross-check weighbridge tickets and report anomalies or errors promptly.
- Liaise with customers, brokers, and shipping companies for the export of materials.
- Communicate with drivers and logistics staff to guide vehicles through the weighing process.
- Provide administrative support and customer service as required.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service or a similar administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and spreadsheet programs.

Pay: €33,000.00-€37,000.00 per year
