Business to Arts is recruiting an Operations Executive to play a central role in the day-to-day running of our organisation and support the ongoing delivery of our work at the intersection of arts, business and social impact.
This full-time position will suit someone with at least 2 years' experience in administration, operations or finance, who has strong attention to detail and enjoys working across systems, processes and projects.

This full-time position will suit someone with at least 2 years' experience in administration, operations or finance, who has strong attention to detail and enjoys working across systems, processes and projects.
You will report to the CEO and work closely with our external accountant and wider team, contributing to financial administration, office systems, governance, and support for high-profile events and projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative and organisational skills to gain wide-ranging experience in arts management and not-for-profit operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration
- Issue and track invoices for membership subscriptions
- Manage day-to-day payments, reconciliations, and cashflow updates
- Liaise with our bank and support the preparation of quarterly accounts and annual audit
Operations & Office Management
- Maintain systems, tools and digital infrastructure to support collaborative working
- Manage supplier relationships (IT, utilities, office support) and ensure best value
- Support hybrid working arrangements and general office operations
Governance & Compliance
- Assist with scheduling and preparing materials for Board meetings
- Support the CEO with Charity Regulator and CRO filings
- Implement internal policies and compliance processes
Project & Event Support
- Assist with logistics and guestlists for Business to Arts events and client projects
- Carry out research and administrative tasks as needed to support planning
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an operations, admin, or finance role
- Bookkeeping experience, with confidence using cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero)
- Strong computer skills including Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and project tools
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a hybrid and fast-paced team environment
Desirable
- Formal accounting or bookkeeping qualification
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and collaboration tools (e.g. Slack, Monday.com)
- Interest in arts, culture, or the non-profit sector
Terms
- Full-time, fixed-term contract (2 years)
- Salary: €34,000 per annum
- 23 days annual leave + public holidays + seasonal office closures
- Hybrid working available (with office base in Dublin city centre)
- Some early morning, evening or off-site events required occasionally
