In partnership with our client, Sedgwick Resource Solutions is seeking an experienced Legal Executive.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading Limerick city based law firm.
A trainee legal executive who is willing to sit the legal executive course will also be considered.
This is a fully onsite role.
Working hours 9am - 5pm
The Role
- To assist in the discharge of functions of the section under the direction of the responsible fee earner and ensure the smooth operation of the section of the office on a day-to-day basis.
- To perform the duties of a Legal Executive within a Plaintiff Litigation Department primarily involving Personal Injury claims.
- To assist in the discharge of functions of the section under the direction of the responsible Partner.
Qualifications/Experience and Skills
- Diploma in Legal Studies an advantage.
- Membership of the IILEX an advantage.
- Previous experience of a similar nature is desirable, preferably including personal injury, within a Plaintiff Litigation Department.
- Excellent knowledge of legal procedures and processes, including court proceedings and the enforcement of such judgements.
- Ability to work on own initiative, unsupervised, in a busy environment.
- Proven organisational and administrative ability as well as excellent communication skills.
- A positive attitude, a proactive approach to work and a willingness to learn.
- A high degree of attention to detail.
- Proficient in I.T skills
