Role Summary:
We are seeking a Packing Chargehand to oversee packing operations within the Offal Department. This hands-on role involves coordinating a small team to ensure that offal products are packed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in meat processing, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to hygiene and compliance.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be based at our Slane production site and will be responsible for:
- Lead and supervise the packing team in the offal area to meet daily production targets.
- Ensure all products are packed according to specifications and customer requirements.
- Monitor packing line performance and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and traceability.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Train new staff and support ongoing development of team members.
- Complete relevant paperwork and records accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
