Job Purpose:
To operate and oversee packing room processes, with a focus on flow wrapper machinery, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and packed to a high standard. To take on supervisory responsibilities within the packing team, meet daily packaging targets, and maintain health & safety compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate and monitor flow wrapper machines and other packing equipment.
- Lead by example, supporting and guiding packing team members to achieve daily production and quality targets.
- Ensure customer orders are packed accurately and meet required standards of presentation and quality.
- Inspect finished goods for damages or faults before packing and dispatch.
- Use industrial packing materials (e.g., cardboard boxes, wooden pallets, liners) to protect and secure goods.
- Load packed goods onto pallets ready for shipping, ensuring correct stacking and labelling.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, quality checks, and downtime.
- Follow and enforce health & safety policies and procedures in all packing room and warehouse activities.
- Ensure packing room and warehouse areas are kept clean and tidy before, during and after shifts.
- Participate in or lead pre-shift checks and briefings.
- Work closely with warehouse, quality and production teams to maintain efficient workflow.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties within the general scope of the role, as required by management.
Essential:
- Proven experience with flow wrapper machines in a production setting.
- 2–3+ years in packing or production.
- Ability to take on a supervisory role and help train or lead team members.
- Attention to detail to fulfil orders accurately and maintain high quality.
- Familiarity with industrial packing materials and palletizing.
- Commitment to health & safety and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if required.
Desirable:
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience.
- Forklift licence or similar certification.
- Knowledge of HACCP or food safety standards (if relevant).

Pay: €14.00-€16.00 per hour
