Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated Part-Time Cellar / General Maintenance Operative to support the day-to-day operational needs of the venue. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping systems running smoothly and working behind the scenes to support a high-performing front-of-house team. The position offers 20 hours per week at €20 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the cellar and storage areas
- Ensure correct stock rotation and assist with deliveries and kegs
- Monitor and maintain equipment such as gas, lines, taps, and refrigeration
- Conduct routine venue checks and address minor issues promptly
- Support the management team in ensuring the venue meets safety and hygiene standards
- Carry out light upkeep tasks such as touch-ups, fixtures, and general venue care
- Respond to any urgent operational issues in a calm and timely manner
- Work early mornings to minimise impact on service operations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar back-of-house or venue support role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good knowledge of cellar systems and basic venue operations
- Trustworthy, punctual, and solution-oriented
- Ability to follow safety procedures and lift/carry stock when required
- Fluent English
- Must have experience working in Ireland
- References essential
- Availability for early mornings and weekends preferred
