The Glenview Leisure Club are currently looking to recruit a Part Time Fitness Instructor/Group Fitness Class instructor to join our energetic and customer focused team.
The successful candidate must be professional, energetic and dedicated to helping others to achieve their fitness goals & wellbeing. The candidate must have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. There will be on the job coaching and mentoring offered to the successful individual.
Duties will include:
- Being helpful and courteous to members and guests at all times
- To carry out fitness assessments in accordance with company procedures
- To develop personalised fitness programs for club members as required.
- To teach a variety of fitness classes from the group training schedule as required
- To instruct clients on the correct use of all gym equipment
- To ensure that the gym area has adequate levels of supervision at all times.
- To ensure that the gym area is tidy and safe for use at all times.
- To keep the gym information board up to date with fitness related information for club members and guests.
- To work along side the LC manager in implementing the member’s social calendar and running gym challenges.
- To ensure that all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and other persons on the premises
- To ensure company hygiene standards are implemented in all areas of the club
- To attend staff meetings and staff training as notified by your Manager
- To report accidents, incidents or damage in accordance with company procedures
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as may be requested by the leisure club manager
All candidates must be qualified fitness instructors and be qualified to teach a range of fitness classes.
