Muckross Park Hotel & Spa are now looking for experienced part time Linen Porter to join our award winning Housekeeping Department. In this essential role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver clean linens and guest supplies to housekeepers on all floors.
- Collect soiled linens from guest rooms and ensure proper sorting and disposal.
- Maintain accurate inventory of linens and guest supplies.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of laundry deliveries.
- Keep linen closets and storage areas clean and organised.
- Report any damaged or missing linens to Accommodation Manager.
- May be required to perform light cleaning duties in public areas.
- Will be required to clean the rooms on ad-hoc basis.
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly and professionally to requests.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and availability to work various shifts, including weekends
