Due to continued expansion we require a Parts Advisor to join our experienced team at Longford Car Parts. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to join the fast paced and continuously evolving motor industry. The role will involve dealing with our existing retail and trade customer base at our busy trade counter and over the phone. You will be responsible for identifying the correct parts required by the customer and ensuring the highest levels of customer service are adhered to throughout. You will also be required to deliver parts to our trade customer base as the need arises using one of our company liveried vans. The ideal candidate will have motor industry experience in a similar role and will have a good understanding of the workings of motor vehicles. They will be eager to learn and continuously improve their professional development. Full training will be provided on our parts catalogues and stock system. Saturday work will also be required on a roster basis.
Some of the daily duties involved are the following:
- Parts identification using the industry leading parts look up systems
- Invoicing and picking of orders
- Answering phone calls and queries from our retail and trade customer base
- Checking in and putting away goods inward orders
- Maintenance and restocking of retail display area
Essential Requirements:
- A full clean driving license
- Mechanical knowledge of motor vehicles and parts
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience in a similar role in the motor industry is preferred
