Who are we?The Irish Payroll Association (IPASS) is Ireland’s premier provider of payroll training and certification. Our Certificate in Payroll Techniques (CPT) course is accredited by QQI as a Higher Education Level 6 award. We also offer an IPASS Professional Diploma in Payroll Management and a Member’s Payroll Helpline. We provide 1 day training courses in payroll, RCT, PSWT and VAT. We also publish the IPASS Book – The Ultimate Guide to Payroll and Employment Law in Ireland. We provide 1 day training courses in payroll, RCT, PSWT and VAT.An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced professional to join IPASS as a Payroll Consultant on a permanent full-time basis.Key Responsibilities
- Write and accurately update material for our qualifications and training courses following changes in tax, social welfare and employment legislation or Revenue Guidance.
- Review work of other team members.
- Provide solutions to member queries.
- Provide assistance and support to our lecturers.
- Deliver training courses (online or in-person).
- Any ad-hoc projects which may arise.
Key Requirements
- CPT Qualified.
- Strong technical knowledge of payroll to include income tax, USC, PRSI and employment law.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral English language communication skills.
- Good public speaker with previous lecturing/training experience
- Ambitious individual who is enthusiastic about payroll and education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge and experience of employment law.
- Experience in any of the other taxes mentioned above (RCT, PSWT or VAT)
- Qualified/part-qualified AITI or Tax Technician
