Life Pharmacy Bluetts, Clonakilty seeks a pharmacy assistant. Experience preferable but not essential. Training can be provided.
The hours are 9a.m to 6p.m with at least one Saturday every four weeks.
Duties and requirements for the role include:
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- engage actively with customers to encourage and maintain customer loyalty
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Flexibility with regard to rostered hours
- Advising customers on the safe use of medicines and other pharmacy products
- Proficient in the use of MPS dispensary software (preferred but not essential)
- Stock and order management for dispensary and OTC products
- Dispense medicines under supervision of pharmacist
- Prepare blister packs on a daily basis
- Prepare monthly PCRS claims for all government schemes
- Clean and maintain the dispensary area
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €14.00-€18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
