Collon Pharmacy are a friendly, independent community pharmacy in Collon, Co. Louth. We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and friendly Pharmacy Sales Assistant to join our team for a 12 month contract to cover a combination of winter pressures and maternity leave.
The successful candidate should:
- have outstanding customer service skills
- have previous retail experience, pharmacy retail an advantage
- have fluent English and excellent communication skills
- be willing to work as part of a team but also able to take initiative
- be flexible and willing to learn
- have an enthusiastic and positive attitude to work
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Providing excellent customer service based on product knowledge and customer requirements
- Maintaining stock levels and merchandising for the shop
- Ensuring the tidiness of the shop is to a high standard
- Building and sustaining positive relationships with our customers.
Experience:
- Previous retail experience is essential
- Computer literacy is desirable
- Previous pharmacy experience an advantage.
- Knowledge of over the counter medications desirable but not essential.
- Completion of an OTC medicines course would be desirable but not essential.
- References (2) must be available.
