Carrig Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and friendly environment, with no weekends and an excellent remuneration package.
This is a permanent part- time position.
About the Role:
You will work closely with our 4-GP team, Practice Nurse, General Practice Assistant, and efficient admin staff to deliver high-quality nursing care in a modern, purpose-built facility located in the heart of Greystones, within walking distance of the DART and easily commutable from Dublin/Wicklow.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality nursing care to patients in a 4-GP practice.
- Cervical Check Screening.
- Infant & Childhood Immunisations.
- Chronic Disease Management assessments and follow up.
- Adult vaccination.
- Venepuncture.
- Wound care.
- Ear care.
- ECG recording and 24hr ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
- Health promotion and education.
- Participate in training and development activities as part of our affiliation with RCSI and UCD.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in general practice nursing in Ireland.
- Membership of An Bord Altranais/NMBI is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
