Responsibilities
The Prioritization and Enforcement (P&E) team plays a critical role in TikTok's risk containment infrastructure. As a Regional Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving operational health, strategic execution, and team performance of P&E analysts tasked with mitigating emerging platform risks. This includes overseeing content sweeps, identifying enforcement gaps, and developing mid-scale mitigation strategies to contain harmful trends before they escalate. You will lead a team of high-performing analysts, coordinate cross-functional containment efforts, and partner closely with policy, operations, and product stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in risk mitigation and content enforcement, strong people management skills, and a bias for proactive, scalable solutions. Note: This role may involve exposure to sensitive or harmful content, including but not limited to bullying, hate speech, child safety violations, or graphic depictions of harm (text, images, and video). Responsibilities: - Manage a regional team of P&E analysts, including workload distribution, mentorship, and professional development - Set clear goals, monitor performance metrics and workflow health, and coach team members to achieve high standards of execution - Foster an inclusive, resilient team culture that supports sustainability and growth - Oversee regional sweeps and trend investigations, ensuring high-quality and timely execution of mitigation work - Drive process improvements, workflow refinements, and adoption of automation tools - Act as a regional point of contact for policy, product, and other stakeholders in coordinated enforcement efforts or business needs
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - 5 years of experience in trust & safety or risk management with at least 1–2 years in a team leadership or mentorship role - Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver under pressure in complex, fast-paced environments - Strong analytical thinking and operational acumen; experience using data to monitor performance and guide decisions - Deep understanding of content moderation systems, enforcement tools, and risk mitigation strategies - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with cross-functional partners (e.g. policy, product, operations) Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience leading teams responsible for incident response, enforcement, or content risk mitigation at scale - Comfort navigating ambiguity and evolving risk landscapes; ability to drive clarity and structure for others - Experience with operational tooling, automation, or data analysis (e.g. SQL, dashboarding tools) - Knowledge of specific high-risk content areas such as misinformation, hate speech, or safety-related harms
