Production Operator/Mixer
Required for a busy dairy in the Raw Milk Processing area.
· Full-time position with immediate start.
· Shifts are 4am - 1pm , 6am - 3pm and 2pm -11pm.
Based in Clonakilty
Monday to Friday.
Job Description
Work in Raw Milk Processing area to produce batch’s as per production plan for the dairy. Responsible for set up, organisation and efficiency to produce a consistent product in adherence to SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining machinery used in mixing, pasteurizing and homogenisation processes.
- Performs other duties as requested by Production Manager.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary production environment
- Flexible on work schedule and overtime as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Dairy Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding cream production processes, including milk handling, batch making and culturing processes
- Equipment Operation: Ability to operate and maintain various machinery used in dairy production
- Computer literacy essential.
- Problem solving, teamwork, communication skills and physical fitness all necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €36,000.00-€38,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Clonakilty, County Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
