Boran Packaging is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team in Ireland.
This role plays a critical part creating and maintaining accurate production schedules and ensuring raw material availability aligns with production demands. The role will involve regular analysis of inventory levels and close coordination with internal teams to meet production timelines and customer requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing purchase orders, and collaborating closely with production and planning teams to ensure material availability aligns with business requirements. In parallel, they will work cross-functionally to identify inefficiencies, facilitate improvement workshops, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance operational performance.

Key aspects of the role include:
- Timely procurement of materials aligned with production needs
- Inventory monitoring and control, including stock rotation and forecasting
- Supporting and leading lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, SMED, waste reduction, etc.)
- Collaborating with internal teams to drive efficiency and process improvements
- Utilising tools such as Power BI and Excel for data analysis and reporting
Requirements
- Ba in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or factory-based environment is advantageous
- Certification or coursework in Lean Six Sigma, Procurement, or Data Analysis (a plus)
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modelling).
