INTRODUCTION
Workday, a Global tech company based in the heart of Dublin city centre, requires an experienced security professional to join their on-site team to manage and oversee the Regional EMEA GSOC and local HQ security operations.
You will be an integral part of the Security Operations pillar of our client's Global Workplace Safety & Security team.
This strategic role reports directly to the Director of Security EMEA and oversees the development of both local in-country security programs and the creation of a robust regional GSOC operation.
This position will be part of the Global Workplace Safety & Security Leadership Team in EMEA.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Security Team Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of running the security program. The program consists of a physical security team spanning over two locations in Dublin's city center and the European Safety Operations Center (ESOC) which has responsibility for safeguarding the clients People, Customers and Locations.
The Security Team manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Key Performance Indicators as predefined in the statement of work which are presented to the client and supplier management during monthly and quarterly business reviews.
The Security Team Manager should possess strong communication skills, effectively conveying information both to superiors and subordinates.
The Safety Team Manager will be adept in evaluating the current operations and highlight any opportunities for process improvement and training needs analysis. These opportunities should be highlighted to the Client operations management and Supplier management teams with a focus around solutions to better enhance the operations.

Demonstrated experience managing safety issues/project management on a large site with 20+ staff.
Demonstrated significant experience in a complimentary area of expertise including, but not limited to Safety & Security only.
Demonstrate a knowledge of the workings of a Regional Safety Operations Centre
Demonstrated management of people (and/or people through vendor relationships), projects and relationships.
Demonstrated analytical skills necessary for the collation of data and the production of Security & Safety management.

Holder of Valid Private Security Authority License
Strong understanding of electronic access control, video management, and other physical security systems (Lenel & Milestone experience a significant advantage).
Extensive experience in the creation and development of Standard Operating Procedures, Assignment Instructions, and departmental Policies.
Demonstrated ability in the management and development of strong operational teams.

Training Qualification / Skills
Preferred BA/BS degree in corporate management, criminal justice, or equivalent combination of education,
military and security/safety related experience.
Working knowledge of employee relations.
Demonstrate a knowledge of the workings of a Regional Safety Operations Centre
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, organises and directs the activities of security team members, to ensure their actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet corporate needs.
Coordinates with cross functional business partners to proactively identify, mitigate and manage operational risks.
Collaborates with global workplace safety management and local partners to ensure a consistent, common application of Global Security & Safety policies, programs, and procedures.
Implements procedures and systems for visitor management, employee identification and the safeguarding of the organisation's facilities, equipment, materials, and property.
Establish, analyse and report on security and safety related metrics for the region and act upon the information to mitigate areas of concern, address areas of improvement and establish the security response plans.
Serves as a subject matter expert on all security and safety matters, emergency response, workplace violence, crisis management, contingency planning, and related topics within the GSOC environment.
Skilled in conducting and evaluating a wide range of sensitive, GDPR compliant investigations, is knowledgeable and experienced in the use of investigative techniques and is aware of legal ramifications involving investigative techniques, procedures and individual rights.
Briefs senior management on the status of security issues, vendor compliance issues, and physical security audit compliance.
Provides effective and efficient emergency response to major incidents.
Works with other internal resources and departments and with law enforcement organizations.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
