Programme Specialist - Strategic Partnerships
Skillnet Ireland is seeking a Specialist who will work on a specific strategic partnership programme and will encompass all elements of programme co-ordination and management. This is a short-term contract for an initial period of 3 months.
Reporting to the Strategic Partnerships Manager in the Transform and Grow function, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the Strategic Talent Development Programme to deliver on partner & client company requirements. The role also works as part of a team that drives and manages other multiple Strategic Partnerships (e.g. National Enterprise Agencies) and their Client Company Accounts to deliver programs that have a strong business impact. The successful candidate will also be service-oriented, innovative and have a high attention to detail, continuously focusing on ways to improve outcomes and growth for our Strategic Partnerships and Skillnet Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
All programme co-ordination and administration support for the Strategic Talent Development programme including:
data analysis and reporting.
financial and budgetary support.
systems and project governance and tracking.
prioritising and manage expectations among all internal and external stakeholders.
clearly communicating and working closely across our multiple functions (Operations, Development, Finance, and Communications) to achieve cohesive execution of projects.
You will be required to:
maximise efficiencies and deliverables through disciplined programme management
evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and create customised reports to track the success of our Partner and Client account strategy
build Partner & Client Company confidence and credibility by consistently solving problems quickly and accurately to deliver a best-in-class experience.
Essential Criteria
Relevant Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years’ experience in programme management/account management (full project lifecycle)
Comfortable with use of project tracking tools & reporting as well as solutions-based approach
Strong cross-functional collaborator, experience with complex organisations.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to network, build relationships and engage effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels within an organisation.
Detail-oriented and driven by data.
Ability to deliver excellent service, while ensuring commercial focus.
Excellent communication skills.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
A self-starter with a desire for ownership and commitment to the job.
Promoter of quality through continuous performance improvement.
Desirable Criteria
Experience in the Learning & Development environment with an emphasis on programme management.
