- Conduct Property Inspections: Thoroughly examine properties, inside and out, including systems like electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Identify Potential Issues: Detect signs of damage, leaks, structural problems, or code violations.
- Prepare Inspection Reports: Document findings with detailed descriptions, photos, and recommendations.
- Communicate with Clients: Explain findings to homeowners or property managers and answer questions.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date on building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- May Perform Specialized Tasks: Conduct radon or mold testing, assess energy efficiency, or investigate pest infestations.
- Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of inspections and any related reports.
Skills:
- Strong observation and analytical skills: To identify problems accurately.
