Key Responsibilities:
- Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat to a high standard
- Maintaining quality, freshness, and visual appeal of all meat products
- Adhering to all HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Delivering professional customer service and offering product advice
- Managing stock rotation, minimising waste
- Supporting and training junior staff as needed
Requirements:
- Fully qualified butcher with proven industry experience
- Excellent knife skills; thorough knowledge of meat cuts
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment
- Good communication skills; positive and flexible attitude
- Willingness to work weekends and peak trading periods
