POSITION SUMMARY
The Supplier Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of components and materials from suppliers. This position plays a key role throughout the plant’s fabrication and production lines, acting as the primary interface between the organization and its suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead supplier non-conformity investigations and corrective action
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards
- Verify product compliance with specifications
- Perform inspections and testing of received components/materials
- Manage supplier quality performance metrics
- Conduct comprehensive quality supplier audits
- Propose process improvements
- Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in the position
- Strong English both verbal and written
- Driver license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in quality management tools (5Why, Ishikawa, Pareto, 8D)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements
- Experience with Switchgear, UPS, CRAC units, STS, or busbar systems is a plus
