The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.
We are now seeking applications for the position Relief Milk Intake, Oil and Powder Operator for oursite in Bailieborough
The role involves working a rotating shift and reporting directly to the area supervisor.
The person appointed will operate the relevant plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. They will be required to carry out relevant checks and maintain records ensuring the highest standards of both finished product and plant hygiene are maintained.
Successful Candidates will be required to:
· Complete all OPRP checks as required.
· Follow standard operating procedures and maintain records to a high standard.
· Using SAP system as required.
· Keep work area clean and tidy.
· Work on agreed shift pattern (weekends and bank holidays included).
· Be able to work within a team setting.
· Have the ability to work on their own initiative.
· Be pro-active.
· Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Desirable:
· Have previous experience within this environment
· Have knowledge of IT (though full training will be given)
The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. They must work well within a team environment, be flexible in their approach to work and have good attention to detail.
