Franklins Restaurant Galway, based in the Headford Road Shopping Centre in Galway City are currently recruiting for a Full Time and a Part Time position in our restaurant. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Food Service on our hot food counter/deli bar, cashier and customer service duties, table clearing and barista service. Applicants should have some previous relevant experience in a restaurant environment in one or more of those roles. Our Catering Staff team work across all areas of the business and this offers the opportunity for cross training and upskilling.
Our full time role requires availability for 30 hours per week. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday at present but from November onwards availability across 7 days will be required. The full time roster is prepared on a 5/7 basis and flexibility regarding the days of work is required.
Our part time opportunity requires applicants to have experience in a restaurant environment (as above) and be available for at least 2 mid week shifts and one weekend shift per week. Availability between 8.30am and 5.30pm is essential. There are no split shift opportunities available.
Meals are provided while on duty and uniform polo shirts are provided.
The restaurant is open during daytime hours only. There are no late evening or night time hours required.
