Florist/Sales Assistant Role Description: As a Florist/Sales Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Store Manager, supporting the daily operations of the shop. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up daily displays of fresh flowers to showcase in-store.
- Checking the quality and freshness of flowers regularly.
- Making flower bouquets and arrangements to the highest standards (training provided).
- Checking and preparing customer orders.
- Taking orders in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their selections.
- Serving customers at the till and ensuring smooth transactions.
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Stocking, tidying, and cleaning shelves.
- Handling cash and ensuring the safe custody of cash.
- Answering customer inquiries at the cash desk and following up on requests.
- Adhering to cashier policies and procedures.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years in customer service (preferred).
