We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our award-winning team at The Brehon Hotel & Spa. As the hotel embarks on a new chapter, we are seeking a creative, motivated, and passionate professional to support the Sales & Marketing team in driving the success of our brand.
This is a fantastic role for someone with a background in hospitality looking to move into Sales & Marketing, or for an existing marketing professional eager to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of Sales & Marketing strategies for The Brehon Hotel & Spa.
- Design creative brand collateral, advertisements, and digital content (Canva experience essential).
- Manage all social media channels - including scheduling, posting, monitoring, and engagement.
- Ensure external partner websites are accurate and up to date.
- Support website management using WordPress.
- Write engaging content for blogs, newsletters (ezines), and general communications.
- Manage our CRM strategy, including: database recruitment, management, and ezine creation, while ensuring GDPR compliance at all times.
- Monitor competitor activity in press and online.
- Support the Sales team with administrative tasks, database management, invoicing, and supplier documentation.
- Contribute to PR and communications campaigns.
- Attend in-house and off-site Sales & Marketing events, representing the hotel brand.
- Be flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends when required.
Skills Required
- Outstanding writing, editing, and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to prioritise, organise work assignments, and follow up effectively.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organisational ability.
- Confident, dynamic personality and team player.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- Calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.

Competencies & Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- Qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- In-depth understanding of digital marketing best practices, trends, and strategies.
- Proven experience in managing marketing and communications projects.
- Strong command of the English language (both written and spoken).
- Knowledge of the high-end luxury hotel market desirable.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva essential, Adobe an advantage).
