KTF Housing Ltd is a leading Timber Frame Housing & Truss manufacturing company based in Dundalk. Due to the increased growth in our business, we are currently seeking a highly organised Scheduler-Planner to support the Production Manager and assist with managing operational timelines, coordinating tasks, allocating resources and ensuring efficient workflow to meet deadlines and budgets. This role requires strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills to balance workload and maintain project momentum.
- Schedule Development:
Creating detailed project and operational schedules, ensuring they align with project goals and resource availability.
- Resource Management:
Coordinating and allocating resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient use and prevent bottlenecks.
- Progress Monitoring:
Tracking project milestones and tasks, identifying potential delays, and taking corrective actions.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving:
Adjusting schedules in response to unforeseen circumstances, emergencies, or changes in project scope.
- Communication & Coordination:
Liaising with project managers, team members, and other departments to ensure everyone is aligned and informed about schedule changes.

Coordinating schedules for vehicle and staff movement, managing routes, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Requirements
· Proven experience (3+ years) in a related production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
· Good understanding of timber frame and truss design, manufacturing processes, and materials.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications.
· Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Computer proficiency
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
· Certification or training in production management, Lean manufacturing, or quality management an advantage.
· Experience with ERP or production scheduling systems an advantage
· Familiarity with building codes.
