Job Title: Senior Bar Person (Full-Time)

About the Role:
A prestigious Golf Club in Co. Meath is seeking a Senior Bar Person to lead and support the bar team in delivering outstanding service to members and guests. This full-time role is ideal for someone with strong hospitality experience, leadership qualities, and a passion for providing a warm and professional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day bar operations, ensuring excellent service and presentation at all times.
- Prepare and serve beverages efficiently, adhering to licensing laws and club standards.
- Lead and motivate junior bar staff, providing guidance and on-the-job training.
- Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage stock levels, assist with ordering, and carry out regular stock takes.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Process payments accurately and reconcile tills at the end of shifts.
- Support in the setup and service of club functions, events, and busy weekends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar senior bar or hospitality role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
- Good knowledge of drinks service, including wine, cocktails, and draught systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during club events.
- A responsible, trustworthy attitude with excellent time management.
